LGBTQIA2S+

Everyone is welcome here.

Are you hoping to explore your own identity, gender expression, or sexual orientation in a space where it feels safe to talk openly and honestly?

Or maybe you’re looking for a space to explore how your gender or sexuality impacts your relationships?

Perhaps you’re seeking support for something unrelated to your identity and sexual orientation, but want to do so in a space that it feels safe to show up as your whole, true self?

No matter your “why” for being here, we will provide a space in the mental health world where you can show up exactly as you are, wherever you may be in your journey.

Areas where we have specific experience include:

  • Gay, lesbian, bisexual, and queer identified individuals and relationships

  • Ethical non-monogamy, including open relationships & polyamory

  • Exploration of gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation

  • Transgender, gender fluid, and gender nonconforming individuals

  • Letter writing in support of hormone replacement therapy and gender-affirming surgery per WPATH standards

  • Parents & family members of people who belong to the LGBTQIA2S+ community

We recognize that therapist identity and experiences often impact your decision making about who you want to work with. On our profile pages, you will find information such as our pronouns, gender identity, and other personal information; we welcome you to ask us more questions anytime. We work diligently to be actionable allies to the LGBTQIA2S+ community in both our personal and professional lives and also recognize that our lived experience is different. We seek to provide a truly safe space for people of all identities in therapy.
